Description

Innovative Optical Design for Higher Sensitivity: The Unicorn system utilizes a patented new optical detection system with Fresnel lens and large area MPPC, enhancing detection sensitivity. It minimizes optical cross-talk between samples by bringing the detector closer to the sample, ensuring better sensitivity. Time-resolved well-by-well scanning technology reduces cross-talk, and high-frequency LED/MPPC pairing minimizes fluorescence quenching.

Outstanding Thermal Cycler: The Unicorn system boasts superior uniformity, precision, and speed. It employs Peltier components, a hollow-out thermal block for rapid temperature changes, temperature compensation technology, and precise temperature control. It maintains a tight temperature uniformity of ±0.2°C and achieves heating rates of up to 6°C/s. It’s compatible with various sample formats, including 96-well plates, 8-strip tubes, and single tubes.

Impressive Performance for High-Quality Data: The Unicorn system guarantees ideal amplification results with its innovative optics and precise temperature control. It offers excellent reproducibility, a wide dynamic range, and precise quantification, making it a reliable choice for quantitative real-time PCR applications
